Based at our Dronfield workshop, Elite Performance Tuning operates a state-of-the-art 2WD Dyno Dynamics dynamometer – essentially a treadmill for vehicles, designed to measure precise engine power and torque outputs. Using advanced electromagnetic load control, our Dyno provides highly accurate, repeatable results for both tuning and diagnostics.
Unlike basic power runs, our Dyno allows for load-based tuning, meaning we can simulate real-world driving conditions directly on site. This often removes the need for a traditional “road tune,” ensuring safe, consistent, and controlled results every time.
For maximum safety and accuracy, our Dyno is fitted with a heavy-duty traction bar that secures directly to your vehicle’s chassis for enhanced stability during testing. The knurled (square-cut) rollers offer superior grip compared to standard smooth rollers, while the hollow roller design ensures safer emergency stops without risk to your vehicle.
When booking a Dyno remap, we typically ask that your vehicle remains with us for the day.
