Returns Policy
We want you to be fully satisfied with every purchase from EP Tuning. This Returns & Refund Policy outlines your rights and our procedures if you wish to return goods or cancel services. Your statutory rights under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, are not affected.
If you are a consumer, you have the legal right to cancel your order for most goods purchased online within 14 days of receiving them. You must inform us in writing (via email) within this period if you wish to cancel. If you cancel before your order has been dispatched, we will refund your payment minus any outbound shipping costs. If goods have already been dispatched, you must return them to us at your own cost and risk.
To return an item, please email mail@eptuning.net with your order number, reason for return, and clear photos (if applicable). Returned goods must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and documentation. Returns must be made within 14 days of notifying us. Once received and inspected, a refund will be processed to your original payment method (minus any applicable fees or deductions). Non-faulty returns are accepted at our discretion, and a restocking fee (typically 10–20%) may apply to cover handling and inspection costs.
If you believe your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us immediately at mail@eptuning.net with your order number, a description of the issue, and supporting photos or videos. We will arrange repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate, in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We reserve the right to inspect and test returned items to verify the fault. If the product is found not to be defective, or the issue is due to misuse, incorrect installation, or modification, we may refuse the return or charge for repair and redelivery.
The following items are not eligible for return or refund unless faulty: custom or made-to-order products (including bespoke tuning files and remaps), electrical items once fitted or connected, software, downloads, or digital maps, items damaged due to improper installation, modification, or misuse, or items returned outside of the stated return period.
If you have booked a service such as remapping, diagnostics, or installation: cancellations made more than 24 hours before your booking will receive a full refund (if prepaid). Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment may incur a cancellation fee. Once a service has started, cancellations are not possible, and you will be charged for parts and labour completed up to that point. Custom tuning or mapping work is non-refundable once completed or supplied.
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 working days after we receive and inspect your returned goods. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or payment provider to process and post the refund to your account.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund or deduct an appropriate amount if goods are returned damaged, used, or missing parts, packaging is not intact or original, goods are returned outside the return window, or there is evidence of misuse or improper installation.
This policy primarily applies to consumer transactions. If you are purchasing on behalf of a business, returns and cancellations are accepted only at our discretion, and statutory consumer cancellation rights do not apply.
